Which are the Parking Options at BUD Airport?

Parking your car should not be a concern when flying from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. BUD Airport offers a wide range of well-organized and monitored parking facilities, covering both short-term and long-term parking needs. Depending on the duration of your stay and your proximity preferences, you can choose between Premium, Terminal, Holiday, Smart, City Break, or Pick-up parking.

Terminal Parking

Terminal Parking is ideal for short stays, pick-ups, and drop-offs. It is located directly outside Terminal 2 and is connected to the terminal via a covered walkway, only 2–3 minutes on foot. With a capacity of 746 spaces, it is considered a reasonably priced option.

Payments can be made by cash or card at the automatic payment machines located inside the parking area and near the terminal entrances. A customer service payment booth is also available.

0–5 min: 450 HUF
6–30 min: 1400 HUF
31–60 min: 2000 HUF
2 hours: 3400 HUF
3 hours: 4800 HUF
4 hours: 6200 HUF

Premium Parking

Premium Parking is the closest parking facility to Terminal 2, located directly in front of the Departures area. It is fully monitored and ideal for very short stays, pick-ups, and drop-offs.

Due to its limited capacity of just 70 parking spaces, availability is not guaranteed. If Premium Parking is full, Terminal Parking is the recommended alternative.

The first 5 minutes are free of charge for the first two entries per day. Payments can be made in cash or by card at the payment machines near the terminal.

31–60 min: 4500 HUF
2 hours: 9000 HUF

Holiday Parking

Holiday Parking is designed for long-term stays and is ideal for travelers leaving their vehicles at the airport for several days or weeks. It is located within a 5–10 minute walk from Terminal 2 and connected via a covered passage.

The monitored parking lot offers 2525 spaces. Online pre-booking is recommended to secure lower prices. Payments can be made in cash or by card at automatic machines or at the Terminal Parking payment desk.

Holiday Parking Fees:

2 days: 11600 HUF
3 days: 13900 HUF
4 days: 16200 HUF
30 days: 58000 HUF
Each extra day: +1100 HUF

Smart Parking

Smart Parking is one of the newest parking options at Budapest Airport and is intended for long-term parking. It is located approximately 10 minutes on foot from Terminal 2 and offers 1440 monitored parking spaces.

Online reservations provide the best available rates. Payments are accepted in cash or by card at the automatic machines or at the Terminal Parking payment booth.

2 days: 9400 HUF
3 days: 11500 HUF
4 days: 13400 HUF
15 days: 31500 HUF
30 days: 47400 HUF

City Break Parking

City Break Parking is located near Terminal Parking, only 2–5 minutes on foot from Terminal 2, and is accessible via a covered walkway. It is best suited for short- to medium-term stays.

The parking facility is insured, monitored, and equipped with a license plate recognition system. Payments can be made at automatic machines or at the Terminal Parking customer service office.

Pick-up Parking Area

The Pick-up Parking Area is dedicated exclusively to arrivals pick-ups and drop-offs. The first 5 minutes are free of charge for the first entry. A parking ticket is required upon entry.
